Vinyl Strap Supplies' virgin vinyl is
.112"-.115"-thick, American-made commercial grade strap.
Depending on climate conditions and use, you can expect
10-15 years from our vinyl strap.
A little primer on vinyl strap terminology:
Vinyl lace is 5/8" or 1" wide and is most commonly
installed in a criss-cross fashion, generally known as a
diamond- or square-laced pattern. However, 1" lace can
be installed horizontally or vertically like the wider
vinyl strap.
Vinyl strap is 1 1/2" or 2" wide and is installed
horizontally and/or vertically over the seat and back of
chaise lounges and chairs. The end of the vinyl strap on
your model may be wrapped once or twice around the
frame, called either a single wrap or double wrap. If
your patio furniture requires a single wrap, you'll use
either a long shank or short shank rivet; which one you
should choose is detailed in the description of each
rivet. The two double wrap rivets can be used
interchangeably.
